There is a R165 gate fee per vehicle per stay. Payment with card only.

  • 100% payment upfront if arrival is within 30 days
  • 1 night bookings – payment in full on confirmation
  • Cancel over 60 days – full deposit less 15% is refundable
  • Cancel between 60-30 days, the full deposit is non-refundable
  • Cancel within 30 days, the full amount is non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to not refund card or bank transaction fees

How To Reach Us?

Memory Makers Bush Lodge recommends all our guests to use Airlink or Safair as their airline when visiting Hoedspruit.

Daily flights to Hoedspruit (HDS) are available from Johannesburg (JHB) with Airlink, as well as direct services from Cape Town (CPT) operated by Airlink or Safair.

Memory Makers Bush Lodge recommends SWIFT Kruger Shuttles for your scheduled bus transfers. They will take you as far as Hoedspruit where you will then be collected and transferred to Memory Makers Bush Lodge

 

We use a reputable transfer company to collect our guests from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport and bring the guests directly to the lodge. This is ideal for guests who do not want to share a vehicle or for guests who arrive after the scheduled shuttle buses leave OR Tambo airport.

Renting a car and driving here is an option favoured by many as you have the freedom to visit the various attractions as and when you want. All the major rental companies have vehicles in Johannesburg’s OR Tambo and in Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport.

No, we have had many guests arrive in the smallest of rental vehicles.

All accommodations are thoughtfully designed for a comfortable bush stay. This includes quality bedding, towels, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and carefully selected amenities to ensure a relaxed and memorable experience in nature.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all units. Please note that due to our remote location, internet speeds may vary and are best suited for light browsing and messaging.

Yes, all bed linen and bath towels are provided.

For shorter stays, housekeeping includes towel refreshment and light cleaning only.

For longer stays, a full cleaning service is provided during the stay. All accommodations receive a full cleaning between guest departures.

Zebra Lookout & Villas:

Yes, these units feature a fully equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, cookware, cutlery and crockery.

Cottages:

These units do not have a kitchen and are ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed, non–self-catering stay.

Villas & Zebra Lookout:

Yes, these units have a private braai (BBQ) area. Basic braai equipment is provided.

Cottages:

These units do not have braai facilities.

Villas:

Yes, the villas offer access to a swimming pool, perfect for cooling off during warm bush days.

Cabin:

Yes, the cabin features a private hot tub, offering a unique and relaxing bush experience.
